Autumn's in the air...

Wow, what a weekend. And it's not even over yet.

We won against S. Carolina! Yeah! This weekend has been jam packed. Today I am going to just clean some, and do a little shopping. Not too much. I know one thing, Boudreaux will get a bath today. The boy is dirty. He is always filthy when he makes a visit there. Perfect place for him to be a DOG! Mud, dirt, water trough to play in, cats, cats and trees*, oh and other dogs. Sounds like doggie haven huh?

Anyway, so Friday night we went to the 'Corn Maze.' Every year we say we want to go, but never go. I never feel like hunting it down across the river. Well, I heard a commercial the other day on the radio that said it was moved to Pine Grove. So no excuse this year. Thats more of my neck of the woods. ;) let the pictures tell the story.....

The official, lets take pictures in the corn maze deal. We do this whenever we go somewhere new, different, or exciting. I mean come on, we are girls... and I love taking pictures. :) Oh, and I look like a total bumm, my clothes are baggy and big.

Here is little shot of them trying to figure out where we were, and where we needed to go. You can kind of see the maze pattern. Its a cow, and a baby calve.

there they go. Scottie was all about leaving us behind. Guess his Eagle Scout instincts were kicking in. (I was being brave by hanging back, to get this shot!) It was 'haunted' for crying out loud!

This fella was all about stalking Amanda, literally. I snapped a picture of him. Or her... they have some really pretty eyes. I think it was a girl. Who knows....

Funny Story: Note, the mudd on my jeans. I totally fell and took the girls down with me/or they fell with me. However you look at it. A guy with a chainsaw came running after us, and I stepped back, and tripped over... You guessed it a CORN STALK! Then they fell with me, or were in my direct path, and came down with me. 3 of us on the muddy ground. Fun stuff. :)

We really enjoyed the corn maze. Scottie was partial... going in with 3 gals that screamed when we got spooked. We had fun. Much needed. I may be bummed about the possibility of moving back in with my mom, but i am still going to enjoy fall!!!

The next few pics are just of us, that we took after we finished the maze...

Scottie makes this picture, and Kimberly's part makes her look almost realistic with her little red dressed girl.

Ok, so that was Friday night. Saturday, Mom and I went to the very fun fair in Washington Parish... Its the Franklinton Fair. It is the *best* fair out there. Its tradition that we go every year. We have went since I was like 6. Then after Kelsey and Reaghan were born we would always go. There has only been like one year since I was 6 that we haven't been... and that was because it was hurricane related, and the damage was too bad. Needless to say, I know it is officially fall when we head to the fair. I remember one year, Ruth went with us, and we got SOAKED waiting in line for her Caramel apple. Crap! I told her I would bring her back one. Yikes! I forgot that one. :( Anyway, it's the perfect country fair, and it gets attention from all over. It's amazing. I could ramble on about it for a while.

Each year we always pass up the signs for the "Great Pumpkin Patch." We all know I am a sucker for pumpkins. So I always want to stop. This year we finally checked it out on the way back home. I was so excited. This wasn't the usual pumpkin patch. It was so cool. I loved it, and it made me miss living in the country *that much more. It was a beautiful day yesterday, and the area was gorgeous. I loved it. I learned about the pumpkins, the crops they grow there. The plans they had for the place. I just loved it. And the man who took to us, and talked to us was so friendly. They were too cute. They were all dressed up as vampires, or witches. Everyone who worked there. It was a little po dunk place. Here are just a few shots, just a few.

Some french type of Pumpkin. It has 'peanut' looking growths on it, and the color is just beautiful. I wish I would of gotten that pumpkin. I want it now. But a drive out past Amite, is it really worth it?

This little ghost was out in the pumpkin patch. He don't look too scary right?

this was our hoy ride/informative/friendly pumpkin patch shower-rounder. (Look at how beautiful that sky is! Perfect Autumn day. *Perfect*

It was just a wonderful time. I wanted to go on the hayride so bad. So mom and me did that. He took just us two out there. Mama wanted to drive the tractor. Lol. Its been a while since we have had a real good tasting of country living to that extreme. We missed it.

Now, for a shot of Boudreauxs massive over-bite... poor dog. Its huge.

That's all folks...

I'm off for a nice cool Sunday! Hope yours is well also!
