So. . .
School starts tomorrow. Am I nervous? Am I doubtful? Do I have any fears of what may come from going to school M-F 8-4? Nope, not in the least, and not the slightest.
My family always laughs at me, and makes comments. Sometimes jokingly comments, and sometimes comments mumbled beneath their breath. Oh, comments about my confidence, and levels of being sure of myself. People keep asking me if "I am nervous?" I told my mom, I tell everyone I am not nervous. Should I be? Lol. I am excited. I know this is what I am supposed to do. I know this is where my heart is. I am thrilled. One thing I am not thrilled about is, my booksack weighs a ton. But that's ok. It shows I am ready to succeed.
This weekend was great. This fallish weather made today even more wonderful. I really wanted to do something fun as my last weekend of total freedom before schools started. I had my hair cut and styled by a new favorite hairstylist. My usual girl was completely booked up. Forcing me to either A) Wait a whole extra week for my "wild lion's mane" to be tamed, or B) Give hope to a new guy that had never had the honor of touching my brunette, lucious locks. Yeah, you heard me right. My wild lion's mane can be lucious locks. I take lots of pride in my hair. I love it. I am blessed to have wonderful hair. I am seriously thankful for my hair.
My new hair cut. He styled it so cute too!
ANYway, this guy totally rocked my socks when it came to my hair, and made me feel like a total babe-movie-star. One that just walked off the sets in downtown New York. One kind of like Zooey Deschanel. Yeah her. I love her, and I have been told I look like her. Gotta love those blue eyes, brunettes huh?
Zooey Deschanel..
Lets see, rocked the hair cut... fell in love with the new hairstylist. I had coffee with Ruth. Much needed, and long over-due. Today, AHHH, today... I kicked back in our yard and relaxed. I played with the pups, played with Reaghan, and just lounged on the swing. I even fell asleep on it. It's been ages since that. We made bird and squirrel food from acorns, and sunflowers seeds, etc. It was fun, and I enjoyed it.

Here's to first days of classes, fall in the oncoming air, puppies, and acorns

Mercy....
So, since I have nothing by time on my hands now a days I decided to take out my faithful film camera and do what I love. Take pictures. There is nothing I love doing more than capturing a moment on film. It is an amazing feeling to capture a special moment, and later be able to look at a beautiful photo, and think "I remember that moment, I remember that day... it was priceless."
My good friend Amanda & I took off to downtown Baton Rouge to snap a few shots. Given the 90 degree weather, and humidity I think we look like rockstars in these photos. She has a good eye for photography too.

Those flowers made for beautiful props. I love the look of the brick, and that splash of color from the flowers.
I have made an attempt to make a pact. I am going to take a snapshot, or photo each week, and post it. I am going to call it "Project 56." One new picture of me each week. It will be a snap-shot of me, or something I am doing. This way, I can document each week of the year. My friend Michelle had this idea and it is awesome.
Hope you have enjoyed the picture. Here's to beautiful pictures, wonderful memories, and *Empty* film canisters. :) That's the way they are meant to be anyways. . . Empty. That way, new memories are captured, and new mementos are created.

Midnight Bottle
Okay, I can't promise anything... but I want to try to make a post each week, with a new picture.
Project 56, is what I am going to call it. My friend is doing "Project 56" with a picture each week.
Given the fact, my life as I have known it is about to take a nice change. . . I am not sure what I will or won't have time for. School will be first. This will be an interesting transverse for me. I have always went to school and worked.
Lots has happened since my last post. Lets see, all the way back in January?! Very much neglected. I'm ashamed.
Let say this, I am thinking as of today, right now... that once I get my degree in Radiology I may work to become a PA. I have been thinking about this a lot since I did my volunteer work and one of the techs was talking about his plans. Two of my friends are working towards their PA. I would love to be "more personal" with the patients than what a Rad. Tech is. We will see. I have said I would like to do Nuclear Med, or become a PA.
I am bursting at the seams. Classes start for me on Aug. 24th. I am supplied to the brim with binders, post-its, loose-leaf, etc. Everything I feel I will need to be a successful student. My favorite part was getting my scrubs and shoes. It just so happens, the blue of our scrubs looks great on me. :)
::exciting::
