Wow, what a weekend. And it's not even over yet.
We won against S. Carolina! Yeah! This weekend has been jam packed. Today I am going to just clean some, and do a little shopping. Not too much. I know one thing, Boudreaux will get a bath today. The boy is dirty. He is always filthy when he makes a visit there. Perfect place for him to be a DOG! Mud, dirt, water trough to play in, cats, cats and trees*, oh and other dogs. Sounds like doggie haven huh?
Anyway, so Friday night we went to the 'Corn Maze.' Every year we say we want to go, but never go. I never feel like hunting it down across the river. Well, I heard a commercial the other day on the radio that said it was moved to Pine Grove. So no excuse this year. Thats more of my neck of the woods. ;) let the pictures tell the story.....
The official, lets take pictures in the corn maze deal. We do this whenever we go somewhere new, different, or exciting. I mean come on, we are girls... and I love taking pictures. :) Oh, and I look like a total bumm, my clothes are baggy and big.
Here is little shot of them trying to figure out where we were, and where we needed to go. You can kind of see the maze pattern. Its a cow, and a baby calve.
there they go. Scottie was all about leaving us behind. Guess his Eagle Scout instincts were kicking in. (I was being brave by hanging back, to get this shot!) It was 'haunted' for crying out loud!
This fella was all about stalking Amanda, literally. I snapped a picture of him. Or her... they have some really pretty eyes. I think it was a girl. Who knows....
Funny Story: Note, the mudd on my jeans. I totally fell and took the girls down with me/or they fell with me. However you look at it. A guy with a chainsaw came running after us, and I stepped back, and tripped over... You guessed it a CORN STALK! Then they fell with me, or were in my direct path, and came down with me. 3 of us on the muddy ground. Fun stuff. :)
We really enjoyed the corn maze. Scottie was partial... going in with 3 gals that screamed when we got spooked. We had fun. Much needed. I may be bummed about the possibility of moving back in with my mom, but i am still going to enjoy fall!!!
The next few pics are just of us, that we took after we finished the maze...

Scottie makes this picture, and Kimberly's part makes her look almost realistic with her little red dressed girl.
Ok, so that was Friday night. Saturday, Mom and I went to the very fun fair in Washington Parish... Its the Franklinton Fair. It is the *best* fair out there. Its tradition that we go every year. We have went since I was like 6. Then after Kelsey and Reaghan were born we would always go. There has only been like one year since I was 6 that we haven't been... and that was because it was hurricane related, and the damage was too bad. Needless to say, I know it is officially fall when we head to the fair. I remember one year, Ruth went with us, and we got SOAKED waiting in line for her Caramel apple. Crap! I told her I would bring her back one. Yikes! I forgot that one. :( Anyway, it's the perfect country fair, and it gets attention from all over. It's amazing. I could ramble on about it for a while.
Each year we always pass up the signs for the "Great Pumpkin Patch." We all know I am a sucker for pumpkins. So I always want to stop. This year we finally checked it out on the way back home. I was so excited. This wasn't the usual pumpkin patch. It was so cool. I loved it, and it made me miss living in the country *that much more. It was a beautiful day yesterday, and the area was gorgeous. I loved it. I learned about the pumpkins, the crops they grow there. The plans they had for the place. I just loved it. And the man who took to us, and talked to us was so friendly. They were too cute. They were all dressed up as vampires, or witches. Everyone who worked there. It was a little po dunk place. Here are just a few shots, just a few.
Some french type of Pumpkin. It has 'peanut' looking growths on it, and the color is just beautiful. I wish I would of gotten that pumpkin. I want it now. But a drive out past Amite, is it really worth it?
This little ghost was out in the pumpkin patch. He don't look too scary right?
this was our hoy ride/informative/friendly pumpkin patch shower-rounder. (Look at how beautiful that sky is! Perfect Autumn day. *Perfect*
It was just a wonderful time. I wanted to go on the hayride so bad. So mom and me did that. He took just us two out there. Mama wanted to drive the tractor. Lol. Its been a while since we have had a real good tasting of country living to that extreme. We missed it.
Now, for a shot of Boudreauxs massive over-bite... poor dog. Its huge.
That's all folks...
I'm off for a nice cool Sunday! Hope yours is well also!

Oh happy day....
When Jesus washed... Washed my sins away.
Oh happy Day, OH happy Day....
::::Humming::::
Ok, so TWO posts in one day?! I know, I know! But I had such a good day today, that I couldn't resist it!
So, I went to Mama's, and let the dogs play. They truly enjoyed themselves too much. Let the pictures tell the story...
They played so hard today.
Sir CoChise... He's B's bro.
CoChise taught Boudreaux how to really enjoy the water trough
I saw this beauty in a tree. It's a salamander, cute lil guy.
Boudreaux got SO filthy, and he had to have a bath, and pronto. (He's not too happy.)
So, Scottie suprised me with a pumpkin. I have been saying how I want to carve a pumpkin. Well, we did that tonight. Here are a few pictures of our adventure. It was fun. We had a good night... made homemade french bread pizza, then kicked it with the pumpkin carving skills. :)
About to carve our pretty pumpkin... :)
Here's the finished product. A Smiling pumpkin sticking out his tongue.
A nice close up of the lil guy.
The headless horseman came to visit. However he is pretty pale. JK! Lol.
My scarecrow on the balcony. Have I mentioned how much I really love Autumn? Today was a nice day. I got to spend it with my mom, and the dogs had a blast. Then had a nice cool afternoon at home. Hope yall's day went well. :) Until next time...

73 days til Christmas....
But hey, who's counting? :)
It's not that I am really excited about Christmas, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday anyways. BUT, Melissa and Steven are coming back home for a good visit. I can't wait. That's one thing that is keeping my spirits up lately. I can't wait to see my friend again, and her crazy husband. The official date they come in is December 23, well last I heard.
we are beauties, we know....
Wondering about the moving deal? No luck for me. I have called numerous places, and no where will take my boy. It will work out, I keep telling myself that. God has never left me high and dry. Something always works out. But I have 18 days. That's all I am saying about that. I need a cute 1 bedroom place, for a single person. Nothing more, nothing less.
Ok, on to something that's not stressing me out. I saw Tabitha and Josh and their beautiful family Friday night. It was very awesome. I miss them like crazy. They are great people.
My mom gave me a pretty present from her trip to Branson, MO. It made me really smile. She got me a coffee mug that has waterfowl all on it, and a removeable lid. HOW cool right? It's an actual stainless steel mug, and it has a pop top coffee lid. COOLEST thing I have ever seen. And she got me the most precious long sleeve shirt that is a beautiful maroon color, and it has autumn leaves on the front, with some pretty glitter. It says Silver Dollar City, Branson, MO. They are making another trip around Christmas. Hopefully I can make it that trip.
Awesome lid for a MUG!
Ok, I just love this mug...
OH, and get this, I heard a really scary and rumbling noise this morning. (Hence, why I am up so early typing a blog.) I slowly slipped out of bed, and looked under my bed. And get this... I found this.... Not for the faint of heart. This is scary.
Yeah, so the lab pup still sleeps under the bed. Doesn't he look squished? He is 34 pounds, and STILL gets under the bed. Poor baby, he don't even sleep on his nice Bass pro bed anymore. Its big enough for him. I just don't get it.
I'm not even going to mention the LSU-Gators game last night. All I have to say is Mikey's Appopriate comment of
"LSU 21 GATORS 51. Sorry! :-) "
It did make me giggle. I know, I know... i'm an LSU fan no lie. But I also think the Comment Ricky Jean made earlier this week about Tebow wasn't called for at all. That's that.
Maybe I might set out and take some pics, and search for a place to live again today. I'm thinking the LSU lakes and Doggie park sound good.

Ha, here you go....
Ok, So my life has been pretty eventful lately.
I just realized the other day that I have until the end of the month to find a new home. Where I thought it was the mid part of November! HELP! Not knowing where you are going to live is stressful, and enough to make any girl wanna crawl in a deep dark hole, and cry! Yeah... me... cry?! Well, I did just that today. I have many stresses in my life here lately.
Ugh, anyway... I have a horribly big AP II test tomorrow. It's on the Somatic & Special Senses, and then the Endocrine System. Am I ready for it? Not in the least. I love how this wonderful 'teacher' I have is so great at teaching! I mean, for the amount I pay for a credit hour, and for her class alone I mean, I think it is completely fair for me to have to teach this stuff to myself. Right? Yeah, not so right, nor fair. If I don't do too hott on this test, I will be saying something. I honestly don't see how she is a 'teacher!'
So, my mom is getting home from the nice Branson, MO tonight. I am slightly upset about that too. I missed out on that opportunity because they were going to be coming home late tomorrow night. AFTER my test. I so needed a get away. Even for a few days. From what I hear, the weather is nice up there in the ole' MO. :::SIGH:::
I took Boudreaux to the Vet this weekend. He is a whooping 33.3 lbs. And he is only 4 months and 3 weeks! He is getting big each day. The vet. diagnosed him with a "Over-Bite." Only my dog. I think I may start to call him Boudreaux 'Billy Bob' Sibley. :) This morning he did his usual waking me up ritual. I looked from under the cover to see his protruding top gums over the smaller, and more pushed back lower jaw. I couldn't help but laugh at my boy. He's the typical redneck dog. I must say, I got some compliments on my boy this weekend. He went to the vet, Octoberfest in the Antique Village, and to the LSU Lakes. I love stopping and talking 'lab talk' with other lab owners. It makes my day, and always makes me smile. Shoot... my dog is my heart throb!
Speaking of which, the DU banquet is this Thursday. I was really pepped up about it about a month ago. But with Lifes obsticles here lately, I could honestly care less. I haven't been to a meeting in weeks, and I still haven't sold any tickets. All the Duck Hunters I know aren't going, are out of town on business, or just aren't interested in it this year. It sucks. I was working on selling a table, but obviously my table selling skills aren't up to par. Oh well... that's why I am going to school for radiology, and not business. Not my partay. Or however you spell it. Give me a break, my brain is mush from all this studying of special senses, and endocrine talk. Ask me how to spell a term that deals with that. Come on, I dare ya.
:)
