is it Friday yet? I mean really....

This week has been insanely busy.  I feel bad for my poor dog.  He hasn't seen me as much as he usually does, and he is taken this new fasination to a obnoxiously loud squeaking shoe.  Yeah.  A 3.5 month labrador walking around whining with a loudly colored shoe.  It's feminine to say the least.  My latest pride has been my dog.  I love him to death.  I'll have to get pictures up here as soon I get more acquainted with this blog deal.

To say the least, my blog has been majorly neglected.  Since my last post, my best friend that got married and moved to the wonderful UK made a suprise visit!!!  Just in time to experience Hurricane Gustav.  I weathered the storm pretty well, and so did my mom.  I can't complain.  And it would be pointless for me to ramble on about that on here.  That was so last week.  haha.

I enjoyed seeing my Melissa so much.  She's my favorite 'Dabit to say the least.  Last week was the most memorable week I have had in a long time.  It kind of stinks she came in right before the storm.  But I did get to spend more time with her due to the lack of power.  I was out of work all last week.  Things at work are flowing pretty smoothly.  I was a little uneasy about that.  But its all panning out pretty nicely.  Anyway.  I felt like last week was a rejuvinating experience for me.  I got to spend this time with my best friend that I once took for granted.  I love being around her, and her whole family.  They are all well rounded people.  I feel in my place when I am with them.  Anyway, it was just nice to have her suprise me.  And thats exactly what she did.  I thought I was meeting her mom to 'pick up a package' that Melissa had mailed over here.  When I got there, MELISSA tackled me!!!! What a package to say the least!  I was so overwhelmed that I cried... slightly!  Ok. I cried.  Lol.   I can't wait for Christmas so I can see her again.  It's hard to say the least.  But Friends are friends, no matter the distance.

It's that time of year again... almost Autumn.  I am getting excited.  We are getting ready for our Ducks Unlimited banquet.  It's next month.  I love being around all the DU volunteer committee.  I really enjoy it.  It's going to be a good banquet this year.  I had just started volunteering last year, when the banquet was held.  I didn't really get to help advertise it, and try to sell tickets.  But I am ready this year.  I am going to see what I can do.  I'm excited.  I just love being around all those duck hunters, and the atmosphere.  I wanna be able to go out there one day and just take pictures like crazy of ducks.  they are such beautiful animals.  I love them so much.  I always have, and always will.  Anyway, I love autumn, I love ducks... I love this time of year... it means one hing.... *Migration.  :)  Yeah!  I love in the late fall/early winter when the canadian geese start flocking down here.  They are beauties too.

Weekend is almost here!  YAY!  I need it.  Can't wait to get hardcore with my studying.  I have a test on Tuesday, and the Tigers play Saturday night!  YEE-HAWW!

Have a good un!
