Ok, so it starts as today was my first day to go back to school. I have been thrilled since last Friday because I would get to return to school this fall. I didn't think I would be able to because the deposit to hold classes has rocketed up to $350.00! YIKES! That is a huge chunk of money. Especially for me, I am a single college student... who is trying to live my life on my own. Thanks to Scottie, I was able to go. It was very sweet of him to do what he did. I have felt for the past few weeks that the world was going on without me. I have felt like a piece of me has been vague without me going to school this fall. It may be lame, but I love school, and I love learning. Not to mention, I'm getting so close to being eligible for my clinical application!
Now on to my night at school. Ok, so we know, I work Full time, then do my schooling part time. At least that is how it will be until I start clinicals. This class is my last class that is required for me to finish for my pre-recs, prior to my clinicals! I am getting *so* excited. I was hopefully going to be in clinicals this fall. But long story short, I didn't get my volunteer hours completed, and I had to drop my A&P II. class. I was not happy to say the least! I am by no means a dummy. I am a very intelligent young lady, and I have kept a good GPA through out my college career... 3.5 to be exact! So dropping my AP II class last semester was for the best, although it was not in my plans. Going into class tonight I had so much expectations of myself for this semester. I am telling myself I will not settle for anything less than an A. I hopefully will get that. Not to sure how many of yall are familar with the AP classes. But they are pretty intense. Well, in my opionion. I have my work cut out for me this semester. My instructor seems like she is really great. I know she is new to the Lake. We will see. I just know it is getting to be draining on me to come from work, and go straight to class. I think I am getting too old for that. Lol. I put in an 6 hour day, then go to school for 3 more!
Needless to say, I am extremely excited about what this semester has in store for me. I just have to give my all, and do my best. That's all I can do. I will be happy with whatever grade I may get. However, that didn't go for last semester. I would of failed that class. I literally studied for each of those tests for atleast* 8 hours. I bombed the first 2 tests! Goodness. Anyway, I am excited to see how this semester pans out. I will have to get my volunteer work completed, get CPR certified, and make a slamming grade in this A&P II. class. I can't wait! I will put in my application at the end of this month... mid-December. We shall see. I hope everyone elses semester goes great, well just all of us in general.
